If you have the standard "EOS Utility" (for photo transfers) running, close it. It often fights for control of the camera. Are you on Windows or Mac ? Which app are you trying to use it with (Zoom, OBS, Teams)?
💡 Even a great camera looks bad in the dark. Use a ring light or sit facing a window for the best results.
