Stranded on a floating iceberg, Manny, Sid, and Diego—along with Sid’s eccentric grandmother, Granny—must navigate the treacherous open ocean. Their journey is complicated when they encounter a band of ruthless pirates led by the menacing ape Captain Gutt. Amidst battles with the pirates and encounters with hypnotic sirens, Diego finds a romantic connection with a female saber-tooth tiger named Shira, who starts as a member of Gutt's crew.
