Click the dropdown and select Download Address Book . In the dialog box that appears:
You typically do not need to manually download a file. Instead, the search function in the People module automatically queries the Global Address Book.

If you are using the older version of Outlook, you can trigger a manual download to ensure your contacts are up to date: Open the application. Select the Send/Receive tab on the top ribbon.

The "New Outlook" experience manages address book updates automatically in the background. Click the dropdown and select Download Address Book
Updates are generally pulled from the Exchange server every 24 hours. For Legacy Outlook for Mac
