The downloaded e-PAN file is password-protected. Use your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format (e.g., 01011990) to open it.
If you generated your PAN instantly using Aadhaar, you can download it for free directly from the Income Tax Portal. Select > "Check Status/Download PAN" . download pan by name
Enter your , Aadhaar number , and Date of Birth (MM/YYYY). Choose the mode to receive an OTP (Email, Mobile, or Both). Enter the OTP and click Validate . The downloaded e-PAN file is password-protected
If you have forgotten your PAN number, you must first using your name before you can proceed with the download. Step 1: Retrieve Your PAN Number by Name Select > "Check Status/Download PAN"
An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile. Once entered, your PAN number will be displayed on the screen.
Before downloading, you must find your actual PAN number. You can do this through the or "Know Your PAN" services on official portals.
