To download and install (now rebranding to Cisco Secure Client ) on a Mac, you typically need to access a portal provided by your organization (such as a university or employer) or have a valid license to download directly from the Cisco Software Central. Step 1: Obtain the Download

Click Continue through the introduction and Agree to the license agreement.

Navigate to your institution's VPN portal (e.g., ://company.com or vpn.university.edu ). Log in with your credentials and follow the prompts to "Download for macOS".

If you have an active Cisco.com ID and a service contract, visit the Cisco Software Downloads page. Search for "AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client v4.x" or "Cisco Secure Client" and select the Mac OS Pre-Deployment Package .

Double-click the .pkg file (often named AnyConnect.pkg or InstallSecureClient.pkg ) inside the window that appears.

Modern macOS versions (11.0 Big Sur and later) require you to manually approve the Cisco system extension:

Double-click the downloaded .dmg file (e.g., anyconnect-macos-xxx.dmg ) to mount it.
