During the process, a separate installer for Npcap will appear. You must agree to its license and complete its installation for Nmap to function correctly on Windows.

Choose your destination folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Nmap ) and click Install .

The self-installer is the easiest way to set up Nmap as it bundles all necessary dependencies, including the packet capture library.

By default, all necessary components are selected. Ensure Zenmap (the graphical interface) and Npcap (required for packet capturing) are checked, then click Next .
