Open an .fxml file in the IntelliJ editor. Look for the Scene Builder tab at the bottom of the editor window to use the embedded version.
Run the installer and follow the prompts. Note the installation directory , as you will need it for IntelliJ.
Right-click any .fxml file in your Project tool window and select Open In SceneBuilder . This launches the standalone application with your file loaded.
After configuration, you can use the visual editor directly from your workspace.
In the left sidebar, go to Languages & Frameworks > JavaFX .
