If you see blue cloud icons next to your files, they are stored only in the cloud and will not download until you open them. To force all files to download and stay on your hard drive: Click the OneDrive cloud icon in your taskbar. Select the (gear icon) > Settings . Go to the Sync and backup tab and click Advanced settings .
