The 11g and 12c versions of the Oracle Instant Client ODBC driver are fully backward compatible with Oracle 9i databases. These newer versions run securely on Windows 10, Windows 11, and modern Windows Server environments. Download them directly from the official Oracle Instant Client Downloads portal .

Choose (or your specific 9i driver name) from the list. Click Finish . Fill out the Oracle ODBC Driver Configuration dialog box:
