Follow these sequential steps to solve any scrambled 3x3 Rubik's Cube. Step 1: The White Cross Locate the white center piece. Find the four white edge pieces. Align edge colors with adjacent side centers. Form a cross on the white face. Step 2: White Corners Find the four white corner pieces. Position each corner below its target slot. Insert using basic target rotations. Complete the first solid white layer. Step 3: Middle Layer (F2L) Flip the cube: white face down. Find edges without yellow on top. Match the front color with its center. Use Left or Right algorithms to insert. Step 4: The Yellow Cross Inspect the top yellow face pattern. Identify the Dot, L-Shape, or Line. Apply the standard cross algorithm ( F R U R' U' F' ). Repeat until a yellow cross forms. Step 5: Permute Yellow Corners Check the positions of top corners. Ensure colors match adjacent side faces. Use switching algorithms to swap positions. Keep corners in correct physical slots. Step 6: Orient Yellow Corners Hold the unoriented corner at top-front-right.
