Silver Kyagulanyi (often spelled ) is a legendary Ugandan musician, multi-award-winning songwriter, and practicing lawyer whose career spans over two decades. Beyond his solo career, he is widely regarded as one of Uganda's most successful songwriters, having penned hit songs for major artists like Juliana Kanyomozi ("Nabikoowa") and Iryn Namubiru ("Nkuweeki"). Born on September 14, 1979, Kyagulanyi’s musical journey began in the in the early 1990s. He first gained national recognition in 1995 while still a student, winning the Youth Alive National Music Festival.
