If a person recites these verses in the morning or evening and passes away during that day or night, they are granted the status of a martyr ( Shaheed ).

A well-known Hadith in Sunan Tirmidhi mentions that if one recites the last three verses of Surah Al-Hashr in the morning after seeking refuge in Allah, seventy thousand angels will pray for their forgiveness until evening.

Recitation is frequently recommended as part of morning and evening adhkar (remembrances) to seek protection from the evil eye, shaytan, and worldly calamities.
