(DP) from specific contacts no longer requires a third-party app download, as WhatsApp has built this functionality directly into its official privacy settings.
This will open your contact list. Select the individuals you want to block from seeing your DP.
You can selectively hide your profile picture from anyone in your contact list using the feature.
Tap the three dots (Android) or the gear icon (iOS). Navigate to Privacy: Select Privacy from the menu. Select Profile Photo: Tap on the Profile photo option.
While some external apps like Hide WhatsApp Profile Pic exist, they only change how you see contact photos on your own device—they do not hide your DP from others.
